In this graduate-level course physical and mathematical understanding of the transfer of momentum, heat, and mass is introduced. We focus on application of these understanding to real engineering problems.

In this undergraduate-level course the basics of structure, properties, and processing of engineering materials including metals, ceramics, polymers and composites is introduced. The relationships between the structure (over various length scales) and properties of engineering materials is discussed. In addition, the development and applications of new generation materials for the immerging technologies is introduced.
